1. Data We Do Not Collect
Mustahab does not require an account, and does not collect, store, or share any of the following:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any identifying information.
- Your contacts, photos, or files on your device.
- Your usage history or the texts you read.
- Any advertising identifiers or tracking data.
2. Location
The app uses your geographic location for one purpose only: calculating accurate prayer times for where you are. The following applies:
- Location access is entirely optional; instead, you can manually select your city from the built-in cities list, or enter coordinates yourself.
- All prayer-time calculations happen on your device. Your location is never sent to any server or third party.
- You can revoke location permission at any time from your operating system settings, and the app will continue to work using the manually selected city.
3. Notifications
If you choose, the app can show local notifications to alert you when prayer times begin. These notifications are created and scheduled entirely on your device. They are optional and can be disabled at any time from the app settings or system settings.
4. Data Stored Locally
The app stores on your device only what it needs to function, such as:
- Your favorites list.
- Your settings (font size, theme, prayer-time calculation method, selected city).
- The tasbih counter.
This data never leaves your device and is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app.
5. Third-Party Services
The app does not include any third-party analytics tools, advertising networks, or trackers. The text content (duas and ziyarat) is bundled inside the app and requires no internet connection.
6. Children's Privacy
The app's content is suitable for all ages, and since the app does not collect any personal data, it does not collect any information from children or anyone else.
7. Security
Because all data stays on your device and is never transmitted over the internet, there is no risk of it being leaked from our side. We recommend protecting your device with a passcode and keeping your operating system up to date.
